tales of teddy

A small but beautifully created collection of limited edition dog products, all made in the UK

It all started when Samantha Murray Greenway got puppy Teddy. The fashion writer, who has penned for Vogue, Dazed & Confused and the Telegraph, was after luxury, practical, hardwearing and easy-on-the-eye dog products. She found it hard to find the things she liked, so set about making her own.

A few years on, and Samantha has created pieces that she loves, and that Teddy looks great in, and now offers them as limited edition, made to order buys that you'll have forever: leads, collars, blankets and bowls.

The big thing about Tales of Teddy is that everything is produced here in the UK, calling on skilled craftspeople to make each bit of the item. It's all in the detail! The website tells us about the products: 'A smart collar in strong colours, with a distinctive buckle, commissioned especially from one of the few remaining family-owned brass foundries in England; a traditionally hand-stitched dog lead made from the best English bridle leather that will age beautifully to feel butter-soft in the hand; the perfect-sized dog blanket in colours that won’t highlight dog hairs; dog bowls that look good enough to put on the dining table.'

The leads and collars take up to three weeks to deliver, and cost from £60, the amazing dog bowls are £45 and the gorgeous blankets are £90 and are 100% wool.
